This vibrant Salsa Verde is a burst of fresh flavor! Made with cilantro, garlic, and a touch of heat, it's the perfect accompaniment to grilled meats, tacos, and more.
Ingredients:
- 2 bunches coriander
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 green chilli(adjust to taste)
- Juice of 2 limes
- 20ml white wine vinegar
- 3 teaspoons caster sugar
- 3 teaspoons sea salt
Instructions:
Prepare the Coriander:
- Wash and roughly chop the coriander, including the stems, as they add extra flavour.
Prep the Garlic and Chilli:
- Peel the garlic clove and chop it finely.
- Chop the green chilli finely, adjusting the amount based on your heat preference.
Blend the Ingredients:
- In a blender or food processor, combine the chopped coriander, garlic, and green chilli.
- Squeeze the juice of two limes into the mixture.
- Add 20ml of white wine vinegar, 3 teaspoons of caster sugar, and 3 teaspoons of sea salt.
Process the Salsa Verde:
- Blend the ingredients until you achieve a smooth, green sauce.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed, adding more lime juice, vinegar, sugar, or salt to taste.
Serve:
- Transfer the salsa verde to a serving bowl.
- This vibrant and tangy sauce pairs well with grilled meats, tacos, nachos, or as a dipping sauce.

- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
