Moi Moi Sauce Glazed Wings

Ingredients

  • 1.2kg chicken wings, split at the joint
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp cracked black pepper
  • 100ml Moi Moi Sauce Original
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 spring onion, finely sliced

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Toss the wings with oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them in a single layer and roast for 30 minutes, turning once.

  3. In a small saucepan, combine Moi Moi Sauce, honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Warm gently for 3-4 minutes until glossy and slightly thickened.

  4. Remove the wings from the oven and toss them in the glaze until evenly coated. Return to the tray and roast for another 10-12 minutes until sticky and caramelised.

  5. Finish with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions, and serve hot.

Chef's Tip

If you like them extra sticky, brush on one last coat of Moi Moi Sauce just before serving - that last shine is pure gold.
